Seoul, the heart of the country, is home to Korea’s major cultural sites, including many palaces. The five grand Joseon palaces-Gyeongbokgung, Changdeokgung, Changgyeonggung, Gyeong-ungung (now Deoksugung) and Gyeonghuigung-connect the past and present.
